Trigger the motor: Press and hold the shade's programming button for roughly 2 seconds using a small screwdriver until the shade jogs (moves up and down quickly). If it fails to respond, slide open the rear panel and replace the 2 AAA alkaline batteries.Unlocking Remote Functions: If the buttons aren't letting you program limits, remove the battery cover on the back and move the lock switch in the right corner to the Unlock position until the screen reads "U".
